On the grounds that Beyoncé supposedly promoted an anti-police agenda in her Super Bowl performance and "Formation" video, Miami's police union will boycott her next concert in the city.

According to a letter signed by Miami Fraternal Order of Police president Javier Ortiz, the group voted to have all the city's officers protest the singer's April 26 concert at Marlins Park. The letter also calls on other law enforcement organizations to boycott her concerts.

"The fact that Beyoncé used this year’s Super Bowl to divide Americans by promoting the Black Panthers and her antipolice message shows how she does not support law enforcement," the letter reads.

Ortiz is referring to the singer's Super Bowl performance, which included dancers dressed as members of the Black Panther Party.

The letter also criticized her "Formation" music video, which gave a nod to the Black Lives Matter movement, and showed Beyoncé on top of a New Orleans police car submerged in water.

"While Beyoncé physically saluted the 50th anniversary of the Black Panthers movement at the Super Bowl, I salute NYPD Officer Richard Rainey, who succumbed to his injuries on February 16, 2016 from being shot by two Black Panthers who he had pulled over in a traffic stop," Ortiz wrote.

"I also salute the dozens of law enforcement officers that have been assassinated by members of the Black Panthers."
